Wordle: but for films?!

I found something amazing!

It is a website similar to Wordle, however, is targeted at Movies and the frames within them. The website is framed.wtf/archive and involves guessing a film from as few frame clues as possible.

Now I’m not just sharing this game because it is fun to play - there is also some utility involved.

I’ve played the game for a couple of hours and have noticed that even if I haven’t seen a film, I am still able to guess the title. This is because of the advertising and artistry of the film, which enables the player to recognise the frames without ever seeing the full movie.

I thought this was an interesting concept to aim for when creating a film that you should consider when making films of your own. I think if you have a clear idea and theme for your film and try to fulfill your criteria in every frame and piece of promotion that you do, then it is likely more people will know of your film.

I’d recommend playing this game and see how good you are at guessing movies, whether you have seen them or not.
